What to check
- Check the drivetrain line on the listing: AWD or 4x4 helps in snow, FWD costs less to run.
- Ask whether winter tires come with the vehicle. In Quebec, they're mandatory from December 1 to March 15.
- Need seven seats? Look for a third row and check how much cargo space is left behind it.
